The TRC collects tissue specimens by Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using best available evidence and expert concensus. Transport and processing times are minimized and freeze-thaw cycles are avoided.

SOP’s developed in collaboration with the Canadian Critical Care Trials Group and the Ontario Cancer Biomarker Network.
